Big Hero 6 at Masquerade

Guardians of the Galaxy panel, 2016 Hall H had the Reapers arrive in character, and Jondu too

They give a cool performance right up to the 5 minute mark

It's not going to get topped anytime soon, proposing to his girlfriend while at Masquerade, at Comic Con. Unless you have the proposal in Hall H... well, that was pretty cool too

Fwiw, Gwenpool, is a thing. Who knew right?

Not only is it a thing, it's very successful.

Gwenpool #1 has sold over 100,000 copies! That makes it the 4th best selling Marvel comic (beaten only by Black Panther and Star Wars) and 6th best selling comic overall for the month! It also received extremely positive reviews from critics.

The Walking Dead cast impressions of Rocky and Mick (skip the first minute (as always) of nonsense)

Prank fail when Andrew Lincoln tried to get Norman Reedus back for a glitter bomb in the air conditioning trick

which was in response to this great prank: (skip to the 55 second mark)

Superhero Dad Selling 5,000 Classic Comic Books for Daughter's College Tuition

He’s traveling to Emerald City Comicon this weekend in hopes of making a lucrative deal for his beloved lifelong collection.

“It’s one of this area’s largest conventions,” Sanders, 53, explained. “I was going to collect cards from some of the dealers to see if there’s interest from one individual to take the whole collection. I’m looking for somebody who enjoys reading them. When I was collecting them I was reading them, not thinking about them as an investment.”

He has no regrets about this decision as long as it means his daughter starts college on the right foot financially.

“We see all these stories of kids having to take out loans to be able to go. We want to try to avoid that,” he said. “If there’s anything that can help defray the cost of her getting started then that’s what we’re going to do.”

D23 2017 encroaches on Comic Con 2017 July timeframe.

Disney today announced the dates for its D23 Convention for next year, which in and of itself isn’t too noteworthy, until you realize they’re incredibly close to a rival convention. Next year’s D23 will take place on the weekend of July 14-16, which is just one week before San Diego Comic-Con is presumed to kick off on July 19th.

Will Comic-Con-goers simply get the scraps or recycled footage, or will the Hall H stage remain where Marvel brings its showstopping moments? If Marvel and/or Lucasfilm are scaled back, you can bet Warner Bros. will ramp up its routinely impressive Hall H panels

for Marvel, July 2017 comes a few months before the release of Thor: Ragnarok and well before the 2018 releases of Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1, and Ant-Man and the Wasp, so there’s quite a bit to be previewed on that front. As for Lucasfilm, December 2017 is the release date for Star Wars: Episode VIII and 2018 will bring us the young Han Solo spinoff movie.
